Academic Lecture Series: Crossing Arizona Queens Campus

Dan DeVivo is codirector and coproducer of the award winning documentary film, "Crossing Arizona". This film adeptly explores both sides of the hotly debated issue of illegal immigration and border security by adding a "human face" to the subject. The Academic Lecture series is offering an opportunity to view clips from the film with an appearance by Mr. DeVivo himself on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 12:15pm (Common Hour) in the University Center Storm Center on the Queens campus. St. John's Continues Partnership with National Grid Foundation in "Hoops for the Stars" Program

During the 200809 men's basketball season, more than 2,400 middle school students and their guardians have attended St. John's basketball games as part of the National Grid Foundation's "Hoops for the Stars" program. On Tuesday, Feb. 24, when the St. John's men's basketball team took on Syracuse, both universities recognized 20 outstanding middle school students through the Hoops for the Stars program.
