Weather Forecasts for Springfield
Good morning! Temperatures are in the 60s again this morning with clear skies over the area. The overall weather pattern for the next several days is going to be changing slowly to something a bit more typical of summer. We've seen a jet stream from the northwest for much of the last several weeks, with upper high pressure suppressed to the southwest. As a result we've seen coolerthanaverage temperatures. Over the next few days this upper ridge is expected to build to the northeast and become centered close to or over the Ozarks. This will bring temperatures back to about average (near 90 by the north face discount jackets middle of the week, and push the main jet stream well to the north. Thus, a dry pattern seems locked in place for now, and I don't see any organized chance of rain for at least a week.
